Hi There. I'm Jason.
Bio
Jason started his career in digital marketing over 14 years ago, designing and developing Websites for oil companies in Houston, Texas. After working as a freelance multimedia designer/developer for many years, he went on to found Deluge Studios, a Web design firm in Memphis, TN. From there he moved to Austin, TX where he has worked with several top interactive agencies managing interactive departments, consulting with clients on marketing and web strategy, developing interactive products, and leading client accounts. This broad range of experience has given him the opportunity to work with clients spanning a spectrum from venture-funded start-ups to Fortune 100 companies across industries as diverse as nonprofit fundraising, industrial manufacturing, and high tech. Notable clients include Nokia, NEC, Dell, AMD, MessageLabs, Seagate, Caterpillar, Teradata, The Washington Times, Science Diet, and World Vision.
Jason has a degree in jazz studies from the University of North Texas that doesn't get put to use nearly enough.

Some of My Recent Thinking
I've been doing a lot of thinking around social media lately. One thing I hear a lot of is "we want our online presence to be more Web 2.0." I've had to explain the difference between Web 2.0 and social media quite a few times and I think I've gotten pretty good at it. Here's a short video I made to help explain just what, exactly, social media is.
